Information for deaf & disabled customers

We want the Cornbury Music Festival to be an event that everyone can enjoy, so we try our best to make the site as accessible as we can.


Please ensure you read the following in full before purchasing tickets or applying for free Personal Assistant ticket and accessible facilities.


Please call Eventim on 0333 344 6250 and ask for the ‘CORNBURY ACCESS TICKET’. One of Eventim’s team will then assist you with your purchase.


If you require full-time assistance, your Personal Assistant is entitled to a FREE ticket for the Cornbury Music Festival.  This free ticket is also obtained from Eventim when purchasing your own ticket.

You will be required to provide a copy of a recent letter (2018/2019 or 2019/2020) from the DWP stating that you are entitled to DLA/ PIP, or statement/ alternative evidence to support your claim for a free ticket for your Personal Assistant.


If you require the use of our Accessible Facilities during the Festival, please follow these steps:

•  Having booked your festival tickets with Eventim and having received your Ticket Booking Confirmation Number, please email to request a Accessible Facilities 2020 Application Form.

•  Once completed, please return the Application Form either by email to or post to:

Accessible Facilities, Cornbury Music Festival, Hazel Mill, Slad Road, Stroud, Gloucestershire, GL6 7JU together with a scan or copy of a letter from the DWP or alternative evidence supporting your requirement for the use of the Accessible Facilities. This must reach us by Friday 19th June 2020.


1. Accessible Camping:

If you would like to Camp in the Accessible Campsite, you will need to purchase a ‘Weekend with Camping’ Ticket.

Please DO NOT purchase a ‘Quieter Camping’ Ticket as these only apply to the Quieter Campsite within General Camping.

If you would like to bring a Campervan, Caravan or Trailer Tent into the Accessible Campsite, you will additionally need to purchase a Campervan Pass. Space is limited so early booking advisable.

We ask that each customer (wherever possible) has a maximum of up to 3 other people in their camping party i.e. a total of 4 people (including your Personal Assistant if applicable).  This again is due to limited space.

If you do intend to invite a larger group of people to camp with you, please contact us directly on before Friday 19th June 2020.

Glamping – Most of our Glamping Operators can provide their services for you within the Accessible Campsite should you with to purchase one of our Glamping options.  Please contact them directly.


2. Accessible Parking:

The Accessible Car Park will be positioned as close to the Festival Arena as possible. Please be aware that the route to the Arena from the Car Park will be across grass.  If you require assistance getting from the Car Park to the Arena, please ask one of our Stewards and they will be happy to help you.

The Accessible Car Park is only for Day Ticket Holders and those Camping in the Accessible Campsite.  If you are Camping in one of the Main Campsites, you will not need access to the Accessible Car Park as you will be using a different entrance to the Festival Site and your car will therefore be parked closer to where you are camping.


3. Viewing Platform:

There will be a dedicated Viewing Platform together with an Accessible Toilet In the Main Arena for viewing of the Pleasant Valley Stage.  These will be located next to the Front of House Tower.

A pass will be issued to you plus an additional Pass for your Personal Assistant (Companion, Family Member, Friend).


Medical Services:

The onsite Medical Team located in the Main Arena, will have refrigeration facilities available for storing Medication. Please let us know in advance via email if you are likely to need to use this facility.

Assistance Dogs:

Please let us know in advance via email if you will be bringing your Assistance Dog to the Festival.

(An ‘Assistance Dog’ has been specifically trained to assist a disabled person. Dogs can either be self-trained by their owner or by qualifying as Members of Assistance Dogs UK through one of the Charitable Organisations).

Wheelchair/ Scooter Charging:

Located at Accessible Reception. There will be 24-hour access to power  (13amp & 16amp) to recharge wheelchair/scooters.

Please note that equipment left at this charging point is left at the visitors’ own risk and the Cornbury Music Festival cannot be held responsible for any theft/damage.

Accessible Toilets and Showers:

There will be a number of Accessible Toilets throughout the Festival Site and Camping Areas, including a Hoist Assisted Toilet located at Accessible Camping.

Accessible Showers (together with Standard Showers) can be found within the Accessible Campsite.

Access to Performance: 

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer British Sign Language / Captioning or Audio Description.

Strobe Lighting:

Please note, some of the music performances may include strobe lighting.
